Great hat

The color is a true maroon in person unlike the photo that shows a more red color. The embroidery is well done on the front, no fraying or loose threads. The brim is also quite firm and stiff, not at all flimsy. It made a great gift for my sister.

Roomy hat

The 'maroon' is a bit of a misnomer. The colour isn't as red as the photo shown but I would not call it a 'maroon', it's more of a blood red. Otherwise, the hat can fit any large head quite well! If you have a smaller head, this may fly off in the wind easily.
