The role of a Warehouse Manager at Peace Collective is essential to the flow of product and people at the distribution centre and quarterbacking daily operations. The ideal candidate is an individual that has strong leadership, time management skills and organizational skills and has experience with various WMS systems and has a thorough understanding of fulfillment and logistics.
Day in the Life...
- Reviewing inbound and outbound schedule and delegating tasks to team members
- Coordinating with production team and partnerships team for logistics for wholesale orders
- Ensuring all teams meet benchmark KPIs
- Oversee accuracy and efficiency of inventory and order fulfillment
- Coordinate and schedule deliveries to and from the distribution centre
- Liaise with local carriers for rates and and transport quotes
- Carry out the administrative functions pertaining to hiring, performance reviews, coaching, counseling and discipline, posting of invoices, transfers and weekly inventories.
- Instrumental in creating processes and setting standards
Qualifications
- At least 1+ years working in a warehouse environment
- At least 1 year of leadership experience
- Goal oriented and self motivated with an entrepreneurial mind set
- Strong task management and prioritization skills
- Open to change and feedback in order to continuously improve
